The City of Stirling covers a wide band of Perth's inner-northern suburbs, Balga, Dianella, Mirrabooka, Nollamara, Stirling proper, Balcatta, Osborne Park, and several others. The housing stock is predominantly 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s builds.
Wanneroo
The City of Wanneroo covers one of Perth's fastest-growing northern corridors, a mix of established suburbs like Wanneroo township itself, high-density strata precincts around Two Rocks and Yanchep, and newer land-release estates further north.
Morley
Morley sits in Perth's north-east, part of the City of Bayswater and bordering the City of Swan. The suburb was largely developed between the 1960s and early 1990s, making it one of the areas with the highest concentration of ageing ceiling stock in Perth's inner-northern metro.
Canning
The City of Canning covers a significant stretch of Perth's south-eastern suburbs, from Cannington and Bentley in the north down through Riverton, Willetton, and Queens Park. It's a mix of post-war housing, 1970s-1980s stock, and newer infill development.
Melville
The City of Melville covers Perth's inner-southern suburbs, Melville, Myaree, Booragoon, Bicton, Attadale, Alfred Cove, Murdoch, and several others. It's one of Perth's more established inner-metro areas, with the bulk of its housing stock dating from the 1960s to the 1990s.
Fremantle
Fremantle has a building stock unlike any other Perth suburb. The inner port city has significant concentrations of pre-Federation, Federation, and inter-war housing, homes that pre-date plasterboard by decades. These properties carry lath-and-plaster, fibrous plaster, or early fibre-cement ceilings.
Rockingham
Rockingham sits at the southern end of Perth's metro corridor, bordered by Cockburn Sound to the west. Its coastal position makes it one of Perth's highest-risk suburbs for salt-air-related building degradation, and ceilings are among the first elements to show it.
